It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Society must announce the passing of our president, John Gallagher. We will all miss him more than words can express. John was not just our president and co-worker, he was our good friend. As those who knew John were well aware, over the past few years John has been struggling with varying health problems that gradually got worse.
John was highly respected by all who knew him and has been an integral part of our industry and the Society for many years, and he will be missed by all of us. Our hearts go out to Johns wife Susan and the rest of the family at this sad and difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts.
We will have a much bigger piece on John very soon, to commemorate and honour Johns life, his commitment to help others and to the Society.
